Fried Gram Chutney
Putani Chutney
Just like Shenga Chutney,Putani(fried gram) chutney is another common side dish in North Karnataka.
This can also be preserved for long.
Ingredients:
Fried Gram - 1 cup
Garlic cloves - 6 pieces
Curry leaf - 2
Jaggery - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp (or to taste)
Cumin seeds/jeera - 1 tsp
Procedure:
1. Peel/remove the dry skin on garlic cloves.
2. Mix all the ingredients and grind in the grinder.
